Thanksgiving In Arizona

These monkeys are some of my nephews at our favorite park last Thanksgiving day. Oh yeah! Thanksgiving in Arizona! Shorts and flip flops at the park. It's our family tradition, we take our turkey and mashed potatoes and let the kids go wild. I don't want all you people North of us to feel too bad. I will admit, it was pretty darn chilly that morning at 4 a.m. while my sis and I were waiting for the doors to open at Kmart. Bwahahaha! Yes, I'm bragging. But only because I thought I'd take Onehm up on her photo tag and this was the 4th picture in my 4th folder.
Eat your heart out!

Just to rub it in!

I'm not jealous NOW. Because right now is my favorite season in my neck of the woods. But in a few months I will be trying my best not to hate you and this post. :)

I was going to tell you that I had a fav of those pics, but they are ALL such great captures!!!

I hear ya! Here in TX we sometimes have the swimming pool out on Thanksgiving or Christmas day. I think we even had it out on New Year's day once. It was lots of fun sending those photos to Iowa! :)

it will be too cold for shorts and flipflops in NC! It's already in the low 50's!

If you can take an Arizona summer, you definitely deserve the nice weather for Thanksgiving. That shot of the baby feet is terrific!

love all the monkeys in the tree!

cute baby toes!

4am.. no thank you.. lol!

Love the pic of the toes! Florida rocks like that too. The downside is that it doesn't feel like Christmas in December. TX and OK have the perfect winters with an occasional snow storm ..okay not so perfect when you are taking cover while the tornado sirens go off. :)

Once when we were in Vegas for Thanksgiving, we went swimming and It was great! Now I am once again one of those 'up North" gals and will be freezing in a month! {been fairly chilly here now in the AM}.

We have family in Scottsdale and Peoria and visit quite often in the summer months. We've only been there a handful of times in their Winter, and it's nice, but I would miss the snow and the Green Grass. LOL!

I love the baby feet photo! SOOO Cute!

It's funny, I have family in Arizona that ALWAYS come home to Nebraska for the the holidays every year! Just not the same to them I guess...(and they've never invited us down there for the holidays, so I don't know!) Looks like a great time!

sounds like tons of fun. here on the east coast, it has finally gotten a little too chilly for flip flops and oh, how my feet were killing me after a full day in actual shoes. ouch.

Thanksgiving here is sometimes warm...we keep the shorts and tees out all year long. I don't live too far from ya. Desert life is very different...I do wish we had all four seasons soemtimes, but not the 'snowed in' type of seasons. lol

Oh just a reminder if you want to play along again. I posted the button code for SES on my blog today. I'd love for you to join in again! Your post last week was great!
