So honey, have you done your English homework?
We didn't have any.
So what are you working on in class?
Today in class we started doing packets. It's like the Silent Treatment.
I take it she's had enough of you guys?
I love it. We just sit there, read the stuff, answer the questions, and then we're done!
nice huh? I guess I'll be calling a teacher tomorrow.

not cool. we just had a MAJOR talk with one of J's teachers about using the kids for his own personal agenda. he had them all write letters to our our state Gov. and basically dictated what they should write. J came home really upset because she knew that what was in the letter are many things that we as a family are against but her teacher is for.. Big Daddy was piiiiiiiissed! it was not pretty and the teacher was unapologetic...looks like this is going before the school board.
OOOOOO! This is stuff I'm not ready for!! So far I've been pretty happy with most of what's happened in the kids' education, but I know that won't always be the case. I am so emotional about this stuff I don't know if I'll handle it well at all...Crap!
♥ It'll be interesting to see what the teacher has to say! Oh the joys of High School!
Better than making your child draw a picture of OBamama.
Oh wow, that's awfully interesting! I'm not sure I'm ready for the kids to go to school if it's like this. Then, to read your other readers comments. ACK! I'm curious to see what the teacher says to you all!
knowing Bridger... the teacher is totally legit and they are doing test prep! :D
Hmmm, this is when I say...It is always something! We are having a struggle with a math teacher right now. Sometimes I would love to be a fly on the classroom wall! :)
That's just like Whit....
She has an F in art because she did not turn in her homework...
UGH 15 year olds
Love the new layout. I HATED packets in 7th grade English. Especially because she NEVER taught us any of the stuff in the packets and expected us to be able to do them.
