Wanna win a Bracelet?
My tiny girl was sitting in the 60 year old rocking chair that belonged to Grandma J when she was a tiny girl. So I ran to grab the camera thinking it would be a darling family history picture. No chance. I got NO cooperation. The minute I pulled out the Easy Share, Tiny Girl was everywhere but in the chair. I tried getting her to sit and rock a baby doll, hold a toy, everything I could think of. She just didn't want to be my model today. Oh well. Grandma's rocker isn't going anywhere.

Saw that you were one of the Wordful Wednesday clique. Aren't we wonderful ;)? Anyway, thought I'd drop by to check out your blog. What a fun way to capture all of those pics. Sometimes the non-cooperative shots make for the best stories. Cute!
she is seriously the CUTEST!! the candid shots are always the best!
Sometimes I think no cooperation is the best material for photos. Can't wait to see some pictures sitting in the rocker......both in the picture would be adorable. :)
OK. I'm a an official moron. I was working my way down the wordful list and clicked on BOTH your blog and Jamies.......she has twins. So please ignore the "other one" comment. Which is revealing in itself b/c I forgot the names of her twins for a sec, so the comment shows TWO moronic moments. Maybe I should just go back to bed. j/k.
i actually really love the candidness of these pics...and it shows her personality...which may or may not be what you were looking for. :)
I hardly ever get cooperation and it's usually when I want that "special" picture! But, actually sometimes the candid ones are the best!
Tiny Girl and Evie would be fabulous friends. Fabulous.
Does that make me want to bring her when we FINALLY get together in the Spring (and that IS happening so don't even pretend it isn't)? Not. A. Chance.
Hi. Came over from Angie's WW. I love the layout of those photos. Cute!!!!
love this - so stinking cute!!
Just heard Like A Virgin - so funny!!
What great pictures and how cool to have Grandma's rocker. I love furniture pieces with history.
I think they are just right --- her in the cat of gettin gin the chair.... looks like a lot of work!
Isn't that how it seems to go most of time at this age? My son USED to cooperate so well he could have modeled, but now he sees the camera and starts making the clicking sounds for the camera and runs away.
Candids are all I can manage most of the time.
Oh well. One day you can show her just how "difficult" she was when she was little. That will be worth a few laughs I'm sure. I think it still made a darn cute photo shoot!
So funny! My daughter did not like her picture taken and we have many with a sour face. For the longest time our second daughter thought the older one did not like her because she was always sour faced in the shots with her. I bet when you least expect it you will catch her in an amazing moment in that chair!
They NEVER do as they are told! Dang it! hee hee Still great pictures tho!
How wonderful to have a rocker that belonged to your Grandma!! I'm sure one day your tiny girl will cooperate. Hopeful she will still fit in the chair. LOL
I have given you an award because I love reading your blog. I hope you enjoy, you can see it at my blog!!
