Didger and I ran to Goodwill to see what fabulous treasures we could obtain on half-price day. He was excited beyond belief to find an REAL typewriter! I don't think I have to buy him a Christmas present this year. He says he's going to write a book on it. (If he can ever get the other kids to stop playing with it.)
*Edit* This morning Princess S. said "Now, I want a typewriter! If I had a typewriter, I wouldn't need a computer!"
P.S. We paid $6 and it's a vintage Remington, from the late 50's or early 60's. I just hope there's somewhere that you can still order typewriter ribbons. Apparently, it's going to see lots of use.
My big excitement was finishing my auction pinafore's today!!! So fun to have them done and get them shipped and delivered on Monday! Plus, an experiment turned out better than expected! LOVE the blue/brown combo!!!
So it was a hap-hap-happy day around here!!!

OH the girls are thrilled with the worms. they told me they were tobacco worms. not tomato worms. i wondered where they got that. they have been VERY faithful in taking care of them feeding them and cleaning out the dish. i am so nice.
